What is ICR?

ICR is a copyrighted business process developed in the Aerospace industry in the early 1990’s to systematically attack all elements of product cost (labor, materials, burden overhead as well as “variances” such as scrap, rework and repair) in methodical step-by-step approach. The ICRProcess as a proven process with over 100 companies and provides an alternative to achieving dramatic cost reductions without the public-relations or business continuity risks of outsourcing, eAuctions or off-shoring.

The ICR book was limited in size and can not be updated as frequently. The ICR book only contained 3 case studies of the >100 actual ICR implementations conducted at three different Fortune 100 companies between 1995 and 2002. The ICRProcess.com web-site has more case studies as well as pictures of the actual hardware.
